Edges worn, extremities fraying, embossing stamp & seller's sticker to ffep. DJ is present in three pieces with major losses (see photos).
Unpaginated. 101 practical and decorative hand-lettered styles of alphabets for use by "students, artists, designers, advertising men, and all others interested in lettering...All in all, they [authors] supply an alphabet for every need, including such widely varied styles as...a Gothic alphabet with Oriental influences; alphabets carefully copied from old hand-cut type; a selection of decorative Cloister initial alphabets; rustic alphabets for outdoor and camp lettering."
This title follows the authors' two previous books: "Sixty(60) Alphabets" and "Lettering of Today". A beautiful, clear and diverse selection of lettered examples written by the Hunt Brothers, the founders of Hunt Mfg. and Speedball, a lettering supplies company. [Book ID # 1860]
