Bumping to corners & spine foot, affecting first 17 ll of text block, seller's label on left front pastedown, foxing to prelims & text block edges, minor waviness to bottom edges of text block.

326 pp., 376 advertisements (including 25 in color) honored by the Art Directors Club of New York, 89 pp. of sponsor ads. Superior examples of magazine, newspaper, & trade periodical advertising, posters, magazine editorial art and covers, and design of complete unit and some early television advertising. 3 signatures of colored stock paper, otherwise glossy. Essays by Norman Rockwell, Charles Coiner & others. Decorative endpapers, front in brown, back in black. An extensive view of early 50's graphic design and illustration.
