Signed by John Kieran (newpaperman), Carveth Wells (explorer & author, who also added a drawing of an elephant), Percy Waxman (editor, writer), Arthur Train (author), William Beebe (scientist & oceanographer), Walter Trumbull (writer), & Joe Chase (portrait artist). 13 color plates, 9 portraits, 2 pp. of caricatures by James Montgomery Flagg. Includes an (rather racily illustrated) alphabetical list of members, their occupations, addresses and phone numbers! A who's who of professionals in literary arts, illustration, publishing, theater, etc. -- whose "business [is] to know what is going on, and all about it, the men and women* who are doing things or getting them done; what they look like, how they talk and what they, actually, amount to."
