80pp., illustrated throughout, 160 b/w photographic plates; 123 schematic diagrams with blue/red/yellow highlights. Design research by Harry Bertoia, Charles Niedringhaus and Murray Rothenberg. All furniture (chairs, tables, sofas and settees, cabinets and chests, beds, desks, office furniture) designs are identified by name and individual specs.
