146 pages, profusely illustrated with 232 b/w photos ( many by Julius Shulman) and floorplans. Nelson presents a well documented look at post-war modern domestic architecture. This, the first volume of the Interiors Library series (the other three companion volumes being Display, Chairs, Storage) was designed by Nelson and his office staff, drawing from the photographic archives of Interiors Magazine. This classic series comprises some of the most beautifully designed and thorough examinations of mid-20th century architecture and interior design.
