For the new-home builder, several catalogs bound together from companies specializing in building materials, equipment, & furnishings each offering a wealth of detailed product information on everything from boilers and new fangled "air conditioners" that are as big as a car; additional products offered include shingles, millwork, linoleum, plumbing fixtures, arches, cabinets, carpets, doors, fireplaces, appliances, glass, insulation, and more; several checklists to aid the homeowner are included. Some of the suppliers are; American CoolAir Corp.; The Stanley Works, Iron Fireman Manufacturing Co., Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co., Westinghouse Electric Corp., Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corp., among many. There are numerous illustrations of mid-century style kitchens and bathrooms in extreme colors and wild designs. A delightful look at domestic housing just as the post-war boom was about to commence. Several response cards tipped in. Great color and elaborate advertising.
