A welcome little tome, as not much has been written about some of these designers' work - specifically Enid Marx (to whom the author dedicated the book). She was a popular and well-respected British textile designer of the 20th century - a friend and contemporary of Eric Ravilious and Edward Bawden at the Royal College of Art. Her designs were familiar to millions in Britain - she was responsible for the upholstery of seats in London Transport underground trains.

Great reference, not easily located in the States.    [Book ID # 1904]
